This event is for all the people who have survived abuses and traumas and betrayals and losses and violations and pain of all sorts. And it’s for our allies, supporters, and anyone who wants to better understand others…and perhaps themselves.

In the first hour, Gregorio shares his survivor-warrior story while reading from his guide to surviving the impossible.

For the second hour, Gregorio will facilitate a group discussion using passages and worksheets from the guide.

Gregorio Lewis hails from the Boston area and now lives in Mexico. He is the author of
Better Days: A Mental Health Recovery Workbook (2015), The Original Peer Support Recovery and Coping Skills Workbook and Curriculum (2022), and editor of of the anthologies You;re Crazy Vol 1 (2014) and Vol. 2 (2021) about collecting firsthand accounts of surviving trauma, addiction, and mental health from within the punk rock scene.
